A surprise party we didn't expect

The hotel was great with its spacious room and delicious breakfast. The rooftop setting for dining was good, with a amazing view of the city.

The New Year's Eve party was a disappointment. The notice about the live music was only slipped under our door on the day, leaving us unprepared for the noise.

The room was exceptional and the bathroom was the best of any hotel, in any city we have travelled. There were up to date computers in every room, with fast wi fi. The restaurant was good value with healthy grilled food and a good range on the menu. A hotel I would definitely recommend or revisit in the future.

We ordered a taxi that one of the staff, arranged for us, however, when the taxi arrived they quoted a large price and not appropriate for the distance of the journey. Assuring us this was a great price for the journey, I asked the other receptionist and was told it was too high. We eventually got a taxi half the original price. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

The pool area was my favorite spot🌴! It was beautifully designed, making it a perfect escape after exploring. the noisy guests at night made it a bit tough to sleep. a lovely experience!

I was frustrated! The staff could have been more helpful, as they seemed indifferent to my concerns. The Sri Lankan breakfast offered was disappointing and not worth the price.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the food at the restaurant is amazing.

Location is a little out of the way

The pool area was a good surprise, allowing me to enjoy breakfast surrounded by greenery.

The toiletries provided were substandard and did not meet basic expectations.

Wonderful small hotel with lovely views on the garden and the swimming pool in an excellent location. Location next to different areas of Colombo as well as good cafes/ restaurants and the Geoffrey Bawa house. Nearby Loft Lounge Bar - great place to chill out.

Beds were hard.

The room was spacious and well-designed, with a massive concrete bathtub. The bed felt really comfortable, giving me a great night's sleep. The location offered easy access to nearby eateries and local attractions, perfect for exploring the area. Staff here were attentive. They always anticipated my needs. I didn't get fresh towels each day, which I found a bit disappointing. The dining options in-house closed early, so I missed out on a midnight snack after a long day. Had to adjust my plans because of that. The food served was delicious and clean. It felt worth the price, especially with the outdoor area for lunch. A slight improvement needed is the coffee prices. They felt a bit too steep at $5 USD for a capsule when alternatives were available nearby. The hotel nailed the eco-friendly vibe, but a few more practical features would elevate the experience further.

The over all experience of staying at Colombo courtyard was wonderfull,I really appreciate the way the staff treated us and helped us in explorering Srilanla,the hotel is beautifully designed and maintained properly,wifi reception was excellent allover the hotel which made me stay intouch,I would definately stay at the same place when I will visit Srilanka again and would recommend my friend aswell :) :) :)
